BRUNEI SHELL PETROLEUM

Brunei Shell Petroleum Supply Chain Management Department

I did intern for Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) after graduating my Bachelor of Commerce in the year 2013. I was placed in Supply Chain Management classified 1 to serve high business profiles.

During my time at BSP I was asked to develop and execute an “Ask” Program; a platform allowing existing and potential oil and gas vendors to seek clarification and ask questions on the preferred date and time slot the vendor had registered for 30 minutes.

The program is an open resources for local vendors to seek advice and address their concerns on various topics including payment process, business integrity, Brunei Shell Joint Venture Local Business Development (BSJV LBD) policies and procedures and vendor registration process.

I remember those days clearly as I was the one that created the logo and one of the key people to execute this program among my team department. During the first day of launching I was asked to organize a media advertisement for the “Ask” Program that featured in Brunei’s newspapers during that time and was in Brunei’s number one social news named RanoAdidas.

This ASK program is still actively held every Thursday from 2 to 4 pm.
